Without more and better higher education, developing countries will find it increasingly difficult to benefit from the global knowledge-based economy.

„Capacity building“ aims to export knowledge to facilitate equitable globalisation. This knowledge is in turn passed on and expands.
With increasing importance of GPS and GIS in developing countries, it is vital that competencies in this area are strengthened. However, in this field of work weak spots with respect to „knowledge transfer“ are still frequently encountered.
Our practically-oriented programs are designed to train and to improve local employees and partners knowledge on GPS and GIS. We attach great importance to keeping work routines simple and to optimizing existing workflows. Concepts are developed together with local partners to realise these goals. With respect to software we focus solely on open source products so that widespread application of the systems, and highest possible compatibility are ensured. On request, already applied software applications may be modified according to specific needs.
