Company

Our company has provided services in the Geo-information sector for over 10 years. We specialise in project management, consulting and training in the fields of GIS, remote sensing and webmapping, with projects conducted both in Germany and abroad. Up-to-date information is always ensured through our relationships with a range of companies, organisations and universities.

Competencies

Our services cover the full geoinformation spectrum. Over the years we have developed a number of core competencies, which are the main focus of our work. We have undertaken numerous projects on development cooperation, geo-marketing, risk management/ natural hazards and telecommunication. Services

Our services range from geodata collection, data management and analysis to the preparation of webmapping applications and maps. In addition, we develop tailor-made software applications and program extensions for the different GIS software used. Maintaining independence from software producers allows us to design and develop tailor-made solutions suited to individual projects.

geoSYS at Africa Carbon Forum 2012

geoSYS will take part on the Africa Carbon Forum 2012 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (18.04. – 20.04). We will be happy to discuss the latest developments in the carbon market and inform you about our recent “fuel wood consumption study” in Kafa Region (southwest Ethiopia).

Google Developer Day 2011 in Berlin

Am 19. November 2011 findet der Google Developer Day 2011 im ICC in Berlin statt. Über 2000 Teilnehmer werden zu Google’s größter europäischen Veranstaltung für Entwickler erwartet. Es werden aktuelle Entwicklungen zu Android, Chrome, HTML5 und Cloud vorgestellt.

INTERGEO 2011 - Weltleitmesse für Geodäsie, Geoinformation und Landmanagement

Die weltweit größte Veranstaltung und Kommunikationsplattform in den Bereichen Geodäsie, Geoinformation und Landmanagement findet in diesem Jahr vom 27.-29. September in Nürnberg statt. Auf dieser Kongressmesse erfolgt ein reger Austausch über alle wichtigen aktuellen und zukunftsweisenden Entwicklungen, Technologien und Produkten in den Bereichen Erfassung, Verarbeitung, Veredelung, Verteilung und Bereitstellung von Geoinformationen.

GI_Forum 2011 - Workshop Vulnerability

Parallel zur AGIT 2011 findet für internationale Anwender und Experten aus Wirtschaft, Verwaltung und Wissenschaft das englischsprachige Geoinformatics Forum (GI_Forum) statt. Im Rahmen dieses Forums wird geoSYS vom 4.-6.7.2011 am Workshop Spatial assessment and analysis of vulnerability teilnehmen und mit weiteren Experten über den aktuellen Stand zu den Themen Klimawandel, Anpassungsstrategien sowie Katastrophenvorsorge diskutieren.
